Surrounded by other small remote villages, Amaurulor is located about 25 miles southeast of Enugu, Nigeria. It has one public school, St. Agnes Elementary. The school's classrooms also serve as multi-purpose rooms for meetings, religious services, and local events, however, these rooms are in poor condition. A small market is roughly six miles away.
In addition, insect and waterborne diseases are prevalent in this region. The lack of medical facilities and access to care has caused an increased death rate of many expectant mothers and their babies.

Adjacent to the clinic, separate living quarters will include four modest bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a kitchenette, dining and living areas, a laundry room, and a chapel.

The site of the clinic and living quarters will be built on two-thirds of an acre. This property is surrounded by small villages and a local elementary school. Project costs include: land purchase, architectural design, construction, medical equipment, and furnishing for the buildings.
