Amaurulor is one of four small villages located about 25 miles southeast of Enugu, Nigeria. With a population of 2000, the village is quite remote and far from the nearest hospital. A well for drinking water was drilled only three years ago though the generosity of a Christian community in North Carolina.

    Our Mission

At Amabilis, Inc. our mission is to fundraise and build a much-needed medical clinic that will provide essential healthcare services to improve the well-being of the local community, the Amaurulor village in the state of Enugu, Nigeria.

    Our Partnership

Amabilis, Inc. is proud to announce our partnership with the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy, a group of nuns in Nigeria who dedicate their lives to serving the needs of the poor.  These dedicated and caring nuns are known throughout Nigeria, Europe and United States as loving teachers and comforters of the mind and soul of the sick.  With their nursing skills and nurturing hands, they will administer vaccines, prenatal care of expectant mothers, delivery of babies, and provide overall medical treatment to the sick.

We broke ground on June 5th

The clinic will include a four-bed inpatient ward, two delivery/evaluation rooms for pregnant mothers, a neonatal room, a pediatric room, a laboratory, and a pharmacy.

The adjacent living quarters for healthcare providers will include four modest bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a chapel.

    Hear About Our Impact

"I grew up wondering the day such a blessing will come to this our interior village.  Today, it is possible that we can have a place to go to when we are sick.  The news of building a clinic in our village is like the news of miracle and wonder from above.  May God bless and reward the person or group of persons who are making this dreamed project a reality."
